About Anakainosis
Anakainosis is a Bible study ministry based in Toronto, dedicated to creating a welcoming space for all who desire to know God more.
Our name is drawn from Romans 12:2: “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” This verse captures our heart—to be renewed in Christ, growing in faith, finding healing from the past, and walking together in community.
Our Mission
We’re on a mission bigger than ourselves. Our city, our nation, and our world are searching for answers—but there is only One: Jesus Christ. Through His Word, we carry the gospel and the promise of salvation, one Friday Bible study at a time. As followers of Christ, we are called beyond self-edification. We are sent to restore the broken, heal the sick, embrace the abandoned, and proclaim freedom to the lost. This isn’t just about you or me—this is the Great Commission. It's time to take our mission seriously. Together, let's bring the hope of Christ to humanity.
Learning
We are a community that values exploring Scripture and growing in faith together. Through Bible studies, discussions, and shared reflections, we create a space for open conversation and deeper understanding of the Word.
Healing
Healing is a journey, and everyone’s path looks different. Yet God promises to be near in every step: “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3). We create a space rooted in faith-centered activities, guided reflections on God’s Word, and the support of a loving community.
Serving & Giving
Faith is not just about belief, it is about love in action. We are dedicated to supporting the less privileged, uplifting communities, and extending God’s love through service and generosity.
