Be the Hands and Feet of Service

We are planning a volunteer activity to help the homeless in our city, and we invite you to join us in serving God’s people. This is more than just an act of kindness, it’s a call to be of service, to extend love, and to uplift those in need.

We don’t have to wait for others to step in, we can make things happen. Together, we can be a source of hope and light in our community.

We are inspired by these words:

Matthew 25:35-40 (NIV)
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’"

"Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, ‘Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,’ but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead."

"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms."
